FBI National Record Check, For Vermont Agencies Only
To obtain criminal history information from VCIC, through the National Child Protection Act, you need to become a qualified entity. In order to become a qualified entity, you must forward the following materials to VCIC:
- A letter stating that you are a qualified entity. This letter must be on your company letterhead and it must explain how your agency interacts with a vulnerable population.
- A copy of the user agreement filled out properly.
- A signed Memorandum of Understanding authorizing the Department of Public Safety to bill your agency for the record checks requested.
